An Magnificent Mushaira and kavi Sammelan in Dallas Texas U.S.A.Organized by Al -International
With a passion in his heart and with unconditional love and affection towards Urdu and Hindi Noor Amrohvi once again made it happen .
Al Noor international presented 7th annual international mushaira and kavi sammelan “An Evening for Peace and Unity” On Friday April 28,2017 at Jack single auditorium Dallas Mr.faiq Siddiqi famous TV anchor came from New York to introduce Noor Amrohvi and said Noor came a long way to get here .Working towards Hindu Muslim and Asian communities and his passion and he does this without any expectation of returns .At this time the audience clapped for a long time and gave Noor Amrohvi a standing ovation which he deserves.
Renowned poets from India Pakistan and Australia : songs writer of Bollywood Santosh Anand , Dr. pir zada Qasim,malik zada javed , Manzar bhopali ,Noshi gilani Khalid irfan .
The evening was presided by Dr . Shamsa Qureshi it was great evening of course with all great poets and great audience . Long time resident of Dallas area Mr Irfan Ali said He has never seen a mushaira and kavi sammelan like this in 25 years . He also appreciated the way the whole event was organized by well known poet and community leader and dynamic speaker Mr Noor Amrohvi and his team .
Audience showed great respect to Santosh Anand saheb who’s in wheel chair but still traveled from India and he said he came for Noor Amrohvi lyricist of famous song like ” ek pyar ka naghma hai mojon ki rawani “And “zindagi ki a tote ladi” Santosh Anand “looted” the mushaira .
(poetry recitation gathering) were convened in Dallas Texas under the auspices of “Al-Noor International” founded by Noor Amrohvi. Noor Armohvi is a literary figure who has to his credit arranging and conducting a trail of such literary and poetic congregation for over a decade.
Noor Amrohvi is doing this splendid yet onerous task not for the money and material perks but because of his commitment to promoting Urdu and Hindi languages which is the leading literary and spoken languages in the sub content particularly in India and Pakistan.
The Mushaira categorized as the international Mushaira and kavi sammelan was held on April 28. It was held at Jack E Singly Auditorium in the city of Dallas It was perhaps for the first in the annals of local Mushairas and literary events that very few seats were vacant and the whole auditorium looked almost filled by the audience including families some of whom came with their children. The Mushraisa and kavi sammelan was wholly sold out except the special invitees and VIPs who otherwise remain instrumental in prompting such literary and humanitarian causes.
Mr. Noor Amrohvi himself conducted the proceedings of the Mushaira with exceptional skill, commendable expertise and poise that he possesses in abundance for such literary assemblages. He is an eloquent speaker and dispensed his role in an entirely professional and graceful manner.
The International Mushaira continued almost until midnight. The audience remained glued to their seats to listen to the poetic compositions of the illustrious guest poets who enjoy international fame and distinction. They were all seasoned and exceptional celebrities in the realm of poetry and their participation is considered to be the touchstone for the success and brilliant image of such literary and poetic congregations,
The name of these luminaries from India are Santosh Anand, Malik Zada Javed and Mazar Bhopali. As already mentioned Madam Noshi Gillani came from Australia while famed literary figure Pirzada Qasim arrived from Pakistan. Mr. Khalid Irfan an illustrious and most sought after poet of humor came from New York. Dr. Shamsa Qureshi who is a local noted poetess and philanthropist presided over the Mushaira. It was also for the first time that a female member of the community was given the honor to preside over a Mushaira of international fame.
The immense service and role of certain members of the community was acknowledged and highlighted in making these mushaira a grand success
