A dynamic teacher of Anjum Urdu High school ,Junnar Dist.Pune Intekhab Manzoor Alam Shaikh has been appointed as an Asstt commissioner of Scout Guide for Pune Dist . by the chief Commissioner.
Intekhab is discharging duties as a scout guide Taluka representative since 2003.
Speaking with millattimes.com Intekhab said, scout guide has been set up to infuse importance of social work and service to man among students .He said, we have been carrying out activities of pulse polio,blood donation camps,swach Bharat abhiyan,voter awareness campaign under this scheme regularly .
Notably Intekhab is the first Urdu teacher of the Punr District who managed to achieve this feat.
