In an attempt to make needy Muslim’s Eidulfitr prosperous Solapur city based Shabdi Social has distributed food grain kit among 5000 Muslim families on Friday.
The function was attended by Deputy Commissioner of Police Nandev Chavan and Asstt. Commissioner Sharmishtha Gharghe Walwalkar as Chief guests.
According to press release NGO had opened center in muslim dominated areas of the city and various taluka places .
30 Kg Kit consists of Rice, Wheat ,Jawar,Grocery and dry fruits.
President of the said group Rasul Pathan said , We carry this activity to help the needy and make the special day of Eid stress free. We don’t raise funds from relatives and friends in fact all the expenditure is bare by our founders ,he added.
Founder of Shabdi group Farooque bhai Shabdi told Millattimes.com that we are doing this for the sake of Allah .We believe that our marginalized people too have right to celebrate Eidul Fitr at rich level. That’s why we manage funds from our Zakat ( compulsory charity),He added.
Farooque further thanked his all the volunteers who are handling all the seven divisions of our NGO and giving their best for this noble cause.
