I don’t really understand why Hadiya & Shafin Jahan is not allowed to live together in salem, by the supreme court if they wish too. Shafin jahan has no case against him, only allegations other wise he is a free man, when the case was going on he was sitting in the visitors gallery, knowing that Hadiya is longing for him and so the judge will arrange a meeting between the two nothing happened, no one allowed them to speak and when she left to Salem, he also went back home .
Referring to a 2006 judgment by the apex court that asked the police and administration across the country to safeguard runway couples from being harassed or intimated. The court even went a step further by directing the police to initiate action against anyone who resort to violence against such couples.
“ If living together is an offence, then the first complaint should be filed against the Supreme Court, because we have permitted living together,”
-Then court said in a rather stern manner.
