With the aim to train Physical Education teachers to handle medical emergencies in their respective schools and provide health care to their students, On Thursday (DSYA) Directorate of sports and youth affairs had held a workshop on First Aid at ADEI office ,Valpoi.
Resource person physiotherapist Ayesha Miranda explained structure of the body through power point presentation in very effective manner and teach various techniques,tying bandaged and giving first aid to the injured students.
She further demonstrated the way of giving Cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to the unconscious person and informed about anti septic and other medicine which should be in first aid box of every school.
The said workshop was attended by nearly 25 teachers of Sattari taluka including APEO Rajan Gaonkar and TSO Raju Parwar,Narendra Mhatkar,Pandu Rang Gaonkar ,Sulochna and others.
