Remarkable History Made by Taqdees-e-Adab International

Poetry is that genre of literature that cascades down to the inner core of the heart effortlessly and can bring about sea changes in the human psyche. Poetry is at its best when recited live before the audience.
That is why Jashn-e-Noor Amrohvi Houston was chosen to be organized annually in Houston, USA.”Aristotle defines poetry as the form of mimesis that utilizes rhythm, language, and harmony. He says that peace distinguishes poetry from the other language-based forms.”
The high esteem, respect, honor, and fame that Dr. Noor Amrohvi received in his professional artistic career are rare to observe in the history of Urdu poetry. Not to mention he earned it in a very short span of time through his remarkable poetic art pieces.
The Jashn-e-Noor Amrohvi was organized and celebrated at the colossal hall of Holiday inn. A large number of poetry lovers were observed to gather at the celebrations in Houston, Texas, which is the fourth largest city in the United States.
It was organized by Taqdis eAdab International, a well-known literary and cultural organization, in a beautiful and spacious hall of Holiday inn. Dr. Pirzada Qasim,ViceChancellor of the Karachi University who is renowned scholar and poet, especially attended this celebration and came from Pakistan.
A famous poet from Pakistan, Abbas Tabish, also became a part of this celebration and historical event of this international Mushaira. Poetic effects on its readers are different but immense. Boundaries cannot bind this form of art.
The Jashn-e-Noor Amrohvi is a perfect example of the intercultural mushaira of the time.GhanShyam Gupta from India, Dr. Sabiha Saba from New York, Humaira Rahman from New York, Zarin Yasin from New Jersy, Khalid Irfanfrom New York, Fatima Zohra Jabeen from Canada, Abid Rasheed from Chicago, Pramod Rajput from Dallas, Dr.Shamsa Qureshi from Dallas delivered their speech and poetry made the audience have an ocean of wisdom.
While the local guest poets were also there to represent the art of poetry, the big names like Ghazanfar Hashmi, Shah Ghazali, Aqeel Ashraf, Aman Khan Dil, Dr. Gulzar Nathani, Khalid Rizvi, NilufarAfshanAashi, also presented their poetry.
Fayyaz Khan, the founder of Taqdees-e-Adab International, made this celebration a historic and memorable, which echoed and reverberated all over the world. Houston saw its first-ever event, which lasted until three in the morning, the place was jam-packed, and there was no place for sit-ins. Lavish dinner, lighting, decoration, and happy mood of the audience presented this event like someone’s wedding party and not literary function which showed Dr. Noor Amrohvi’s affection and Houstonian’s brotherly friendship, love and affiliation with Fayyaz Khan was clearly visible which has been admired by the audience.
The audience said that the celebration of Jashn-e-Noor Amrohvi was just remarkable. The aesthetic atmosphere shows the utter desire to raise Urdu poetry worldwide. The program consisted of two parts.
Speeches, dissertation and poetry were presented on Dr. Noor Amrohvi’s poetic personality in the first part. Dr. Pirzada Qasim Sahib said “Dr. NoorAmrohvi is writing the history of his era. Dr. Noor Amrohvi deserves this respect and celebration which has been full filled by the Taqdees e Adab” The tribute paid by Taqdeese-Adab International was a beautiful example of showing respect and honor.
The famous poet Abbas Tabish Sahib said “the beginning of Amroha starts with John Elia and ends with Dr.NoorAmrohvi”Well-known poet of satire and humor Khalid Irfan said that Noor Amrohvi is a man and poet full of love and solemnity, and he has done great literary and social work. Very few people rarely achieve the position that he has gained in the entire literary world.
Dr. Amrohvi’s assumed sister Dr. Shamsa Qureshi said,”I am proud of my brother Dr. Noor Amrohvi, who achieved a high rank status in a short span of time.” Fiction writer and poetess Fatima Zahra Jabeen from Canada said that Dr. Amrohvi had acquired international fame in a very short time. She appreciated him as the organizer of this immeasurable unique platform and praised him as a successful businessman and a handsome individual who is full of compassion and humane values. I know Dr. Noor for a very longtime and always praise him as my younger brother and I congratulate him for this wonderful celebration which he deserves. This part f the event was conducted by Shah Ahmad Ghazali while the comparing of Mushaira was nicely done by Fayyaz Khan the chief of the Taqdees e Adab International.
At the end of the program the benefactor and the guardian of UrduDr. Shamsa Qureshi, was awarded a lifetime achievement award by Dr. Pirzada Qasim. Best Poet of the year was nominated Dr. Noor Amrohvi, the man of the celebration. It is worth to mention that Dr. Noor Amrohvi is the only poet in the North America, India and Pakistan who has been awarded and gifted with diamond, gem and gold by his fans. A die-hard fan of Dr. Amrohvi, who is a jeweler had gifted one karate of diamond ina mushaira to all the participant in the event of the book inaugration “DuaayenKaamAati Hain”in Dallas and his assume sister Dr. Shamsa Qureshi hadalso gifted him a gold pen in the same event.
The second half of the program was the award ceremony for the people with high achievements in the literary fields. The management ofTaqdeesAdabInternational, presented Taqdees e AdabAward to Fayyaz Khan for the exceptional literary services and Raja Zahid Khanzada, Editor-in-Chief of Jago Times, was awarded for the best journalism.
This fascinating poetry celebration of literary history ended with an auditorium full of audiences echoing with applauding. It was indeed an unforgettable event for literature and poetry lovers in Houston. To acknowledge the literary services of Dr. Noor Amrohvi, a colorful magazine was also published and distributed among the audience. In the last hour of night Fayyaz Khan, thanked and appreciated all the sponsors and supporters including ZakiNiazi of Fuel King,FerozMosani, Salman Razaqi,Ashraf Inayat, and with this appreciation the beautiful historical literary event to honor Dr, Noor Amrohvi ended up which will be remembered for longtime to come.
