A man wielding a gun opened fire during a protest against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act outside Jamia Millia Islamia, student of MCRC, Mass Communication received a bullet on his hand. He has been taken to Holy Family hospital, in the vicinity. But he is now being shifted to AIIMS Trauma Center.
In the video, the man brandishing the gun can be heard saying, “Yeh lo azaadi…Hindustan zindabad…Delhi Police zindabad.” Delhi Police personnel were present when the shooting took place. The man has been detained.
