First time in independent India, the nation has witnessed most disciplined, systematic, secularists and peaceful protest against black laws i.e. Citizenship Amendment Act 2019. It would be fraud with the truth to paint this most peaceful protest at Shaheen Bagh as protest of a particular community. The brave women soldiers of Shaheen Bagh are not alone-their Sikh brothers and sisters from Punjab have joined them and patrolling day and night. Hundreds of Dalits and Tribals leaders have also camped at Shaheen Bagh in solidarity with women soldiers. Kashmiri Pandits from Jammu and Kashmir have also joined the months long civil disobedience movement against CAA-NRC. Students from all walks of life already there in large numbers, its a historical event as history is being shaped at Shaheen Bagh and Democracy being nurtured.
