In an attempt to bring awareness regarding hijab,Ratnagiri unit of Girls Islamic Organization celebrated ‘Hijab Day’ on Feb.1
The said activity was conducted at lala complex near jogle college in the heart of the city.
Total seven activists sana,Azra Kazi ,Bushra Fazlani,Madina chaudhary,Ayesh kazi, Jamila Aapa and Zainab Shaikh put their efforts to make it success,explained the importance of Hijab, demonstrated various techniques of wearing hijab before visitors and college girls of other communities.
It is notable that they receive very good response from non Muslim girls. Most of the visitors tried hijab excitingly and click pics with organisers .
Event in charge and sr.member Adv.Khadeeja Pradhan informed millattimes.com that 1st is celebrated as A Hijab Day at international level ,we too are conducting it since year.She said, hijab is like a precious ornament for every woman, it increases beauty of a woman ,awards her dignity and respect near Allah and society.
