In Maharashtra AIMIM opens its account in six local bodies

Hyderabad based political party, All India Majlis Ittihadul Muslimeen made relatively good performance in six municpal corporations of Maharashtra by winning  28 seats out of 167 seats.

Party had fielded nearly 167 candidates in eight municipalities including Mumbai,Pune ,Thane,Solapur,Amrawat,Pimpri chinchwad ,Akola and Nagpur.

Party was contesting for the first time in the said local bodies and managed to open its account in six corporations.
In Mumbai, party made its debut by winning 2 seats ,Solapur -9 ,Amrawati -11,Akola-3 ,Thane-2 and Pune – 1 as informed by state core committee member Anjum Inamdar.

Speaking with Millattimes.com, Anjum Inamdar said that this result shows the popularity and strength of Asaduddin  and Akbar bhai is now gaining in a big way, they conducted huge rallies across Maharashtra, as they are becoming very popular among all sections of the society whether Muslims , downtrodden community or dalits. He says, Winning candidate of pune is Ashwani Danial Landge which shows that our party is now gaining success in attracting other community brothers and sisters as well.

Assaduddin owaisi led AIMIM has already 88 seats in various civic bodies of the state .Now it has crossed 100 figure mark as it was earlier predicted by its leaders. Asaduddin Owaisi said that the civic polls were very encouraging for his party, All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul Muslimeen (AIMIM).

Party MLA from Aurangabad Imtiyaz Jaleel has given the credit to people and activists for outstanding moral and political support during election time.He commented that now time has come to reform our bodies to go into poles in much better way.He said ,we will always be under guidance of Asad owaisi but  we need some strong teams to do field more candidates in upcoming elections, and work to strengthen our party.
