Shaykh Al Hadith wa Al-Tafseer Mufti Zarwali Khan passes away in Karachi

Shaykh Al Hadith wa Al-Tafseer Mufti Zarwali Khan has passed away. He was an expert in the fields of Islamic Jurisprudence (fiqh), hadith, tafsir and tasawwuf.

According to the details, Mufti Zarwali was shifted to hospital after his health condition deteriorated.

Mufti was the founder and former principal of Jamia Ahsan Ul Uloom, established, Karachi in 1978. He was the student of allama Yousuf Banuri (R.A). Yusuf Banuri completed his “Dora-e-Hadith” under allama Anwar Shah Kashmiri and Shabbir Ahmad Usmani. Zarawali khan was so much inspired by allama Anwar shah kashmiri (r.a) that he named his own son after him. His seminary is notable for being one of the first Deobandi institutions to offer the takhassus (PhD equivalent degree leading to mufti status) degree program to women. Mufti Zarwali khan has also built several branch institutions from his organizations ranging from schools, mosque to various other educational institutions in karachi.
