Educating children in dire conditions ,battling for good married life and struggle for favorable financial status are the problems which thousands of women face and win the battle against bad conditions and made her children iconic personalities through education.

But this is the story of a 21 year old son Tabrez sheikh who encouraged and supported  his mother during his school days, worked as child labourer and took pains during his adolescence   to continue her studies to face the challenges of the society and bitter realities of life.

This is a heart touching story of A  Pune (Maharashtra) based woman Farida sheikh  which can be an inspiration t all upcoming generations and poor families going through hard time of their lives.  Farida  was married to a man when she was just 14 years old. Unfortunately her  married life was  very stressed and full of domestic problems .She would do household work as maid servant and children also work as labourers after school to earn living after her  husband left her with two children. The only thing  in her mind was to make her children study and take up good jobs. she herself has studied only upto seventh .She never lost hope and would send her children to school thinking that it was her duty and that  poverty should not be a barrier to stop her children  from going to school and acquire knowledge.

A proud mother Farida spoke to millattimes.com and said , we usually experience that parents do their best for children and became role models but in my case my  son Tabrez and daughter Rehana are my role models. She said , they not only educated me but also supported me on all walks of life to face and fight. They taught me driving , using computer, laptop and mobile phones etc. she further said that me and my son both appeared for SSC exam in the same year and passed with good marks. After passing SSC I continued my study with the help of my son. After passing HSC I got a job in Adhar card center which helped to work out the expenditure of my children’s education She added.

Tabrez told that we thank Almighty for giving us courage to face the pathetic conditions . Only education is the key through which we can come out from poverty. He further said , I must thank madam parveez Nida and my other high school and junior college teachers for helping me during my school days.

The family has proved that only education is the way to defeat all odds of life. Now a days Farida is working in Adhar card center ,daughter Rehana  is perusing her post graduation and iconic son Tabrez has completed his MSC and currently working as Research scholar in NCL (National Chemical Laboratory) Pune .

Taking serious note this family ‘s inspirational struggle Molledina high School, pune  ( where both children studies)Honored  Farida sheikh and her son Tabrez  with inspire award on 26th January (Republic Day).
