Lakhs of Muslim Women holding placards and banners marched a silent protest rally in the Streets of Jaipur on 28/02/2018 against the Triple Talaq Bill passed in the Lok Sabha by the BJP Central Government and waiting to be passed in the Rajya Sabha. They said the Bill is against the Constitution of India, against the Principles of Shariat of Islam and an interference in Personal Laws of Muslim Community which will not be tolerated. The Bill is against Women & Children, It will break homes and families & Muslim Women will face difficulties because of this Bill.
The historic mammoth rally was led by Mrs. Yasmeen Farooqui, Member AIMPLB, Mrs. Fathima Muzaffer, Member Chennai, AIMPLB & Dr. Asma Zehra Convenor Women’s Wing AIMPLB.
The Mammoth all Women Rally started from Char Darwaza and proceeded Nawab ka Chowraha, Ghat gate, MD.Road to Muslim Musafer Khana where a huge public meeting was conducted.
Moulana Umrain Mahfooz Rahmani Secretary AIMPLB, Moulana Fazlur Rahman Mujaddidi, Secretary AIMPLB Supervised the rally and addressed the public meeting also.
After the public meeting a delegation of Muslim Women Leaders went to meet the Governor of Rajasthan Honourable Mr.Kalyan Singh to give the Memorandum and convey the message of the Rally. Even though the Governor had given the
Appointment he did not meet the Women’s delegation, hence the memorandum was presented to the ADC to the Governor.
