O Bengal, O Bengal,
our pride, our flame,
Where freedom’s light defeats all fear and shame;
Secular beacon, ever shining bright,
Democracy your crown of truth and right.
O Bengal, O Bengal,
through storm and long night,
You bore aloft the torch of justice bright;
Unshaken still through every rising tide,
With conscience firm and unity your guide.
O Bengal, O Bengal,
where India stands tall,
No hate divides, no bias left to call;
No communal cry, no shadow left to grow,
Where hearts embrace, and equal breezes blow.
O Bengal, O Bengal,
no caste nor creed bind,
No tongue nor faith can chain the human mind;
For love of people rises past the past,
A bond so deep, no shadow long can last.
O Bengal, O Bengal,
now rise once more,
With Tamils beside, with Kerala’s shore;
Let not the dream of India fade away,
Where Bhai Bhai in every heart shall stay.
O Bengal, O Bengal,
the idea must live,
In all we share, in all we dare to give;
Stand firm, stand wise, let truth your path decree—
For Didi leads, and Bengal shall be free.
In TMC, your hope, your destiny.
O Bengal, O Bengal…
