AIMIM continues to spread wings in Maharashtra  Won 7 seats in Malegao Municipal poles

Hyderabad M P Asadduddin Owaisi led All India Majlis Ittihadul Muslimeen has managed to win seven seats in Malegao municipal poles.

The result has been declared on Friday by the election authorities.

The figure of total Party councillors in Maharashtra state has touched 120.

In this 84 seats civic body political battle Indian National Congress emerged as largest party by 28 seats.

Malegao is a taluka place of Nasik District which is famous for its Muslim population. In the town nearly 5 lakh Muslims live and they share nearly 75% of total population.

MIM city preside Abdul Malik told Millattimes. com that we have fielded 28 candidates from different wards and expecting at least 15 seats . He further said any how its a big win for us we won 7 seats and 10 candidates stood on second position .

This time BJP has also played the Muslim card and distributed tickets among  43 Muslims but nobody managed to win.

It is notable that total 57 Muslim candidates from different parties register win in the 84 member council.

A social activist from Malegao Feroz Anjum spoke to this portal and said ,city’s development is more important than 57 Muslim members win.He says that ,huge number of Muslim youths are unemployed ,we are far behind in education sector,cleanliness in our mohallas etc . Quality of work and contribution towards wards  matter the most,added Feroz.
