Taking advantage of Information technology boom on 18 January 2016 Maulana Shams Tabrez Qasmi has decided to launch news portal to become mouth of Muslims .
News portal was launched in Urdu Hindi and English simultaneously to reach maximum readers .
In these two year journey Millattimes has managed to grab attentions of Muslims and mainstream media as well.
Considering it’s viewership in nearly 100 countries MT has launched Mobile application on the occasion of first anniversary and and YouTube channel in the month of July 17.
Now a days thousand sof reader have attached with MT through Facebook,Instagram,Twitter and WhatsApp to get the daily updates.
According to 25 year old Editor Shams Tabrez Qasmi the said portal has been accepted a source of news and breaking stories by the readers.He said that ,within a very short time we joined the leading media house club.We always stress on the positive stories of Muslims and other community related problems which is generally sidelined by the mainstream media.
He further said that we follow all the ethics of journalism without considering any maslak caste and creed. Our breaking stories of our portal is grabbing the attention of big media houses and problems raised by us are being discussed in the offices of the news papers .
