Crown women in Their true sense

By Parveez Nida ( Pune)

Women is the Best and Most beautiful gift of Almighty to the world .

After Namaz and Quran the gift from Allah subhan nahutalah is “ The Mother” so from here starts the love and respect a women.

Since ages history has records of women being powerful like. For eg. Begum hazrat Mahal, Razia Sultana, Chand Bibi, Rani Laxmibai who ruled their kingdoms and fought for their independence.

Mother Teresa worked  for humanity breaking all barriers of religion cast and creed.

Women have been playing a very important role in our society from being mother, sister, and wife. And can work 24×7 for the whole family.

Though a woman faces many adversities but she can still walk tall.

There is a lurking fear in the society of female infanticide. There are cases of abuse and torture against women. It is an old ancient believe that a woman should be confined to the four walls of the house. She is considered as a bonded labourer first in her parents’ house and later in the in-laws house. We have come across women commenting that we are being treated as doormats in our houses. The saying goes well that ‘behind every great man there is a woman’. This very much proves the abilities and qualities of the woman.

Inspite of all this then why do you think a woman faces adverse conditions in our society? Why do many women feel it is a man’s world? This is because our mind set has never changed or maybe we call it as we don’t want to change our mind set for woman and illiteracy.

( I myself has experienced that women can easily control a lot of 100 men but it is difficult for a man to control 100 women as a Boss. Yes it true and hilarious indeed ).

We need to improve her pathetic condition that can be achieved only by educating her by building her self confidence and empowering her.

A woman has to be considered as equal as men. People shouldn’t be biased about female gender. A woman can fly plane, climb mountain, swim in the deep oceans.

Women empowerment is empowering a women and make her independent in all aspects from mind, thoughts, rights by over coming  all societies and family limitations.

According to 108th constitutional amended bill ( also called women reservation Bill ) was passed to reserve one third of the seats for woman only in the Lok Sabba to make them actively involved in every area.

Various mass campaigning needs to be organised in the backward, rural areas as well as slum areas of the big cities. Where the parents feel the girl should be married soon after entering the adolescence  so that their responsibilities are over.

We should make them aware the facilities and scholarships available by the government for their bright future. They should be made to realize that through achieving higher education she can earn living for herself in this man’s world.

They need to be promoted for survival and proper education of females to fully realize the dream of women empowerment come true.

The recently released movie by Amir Khan ‘ Dangal’ and Sharuk khan’s movie ‘ Chak de India’ passed a great message of women’s achievements.

The famous quote of Malala Yusufzai the youngest Nobel Prize winner “I don’t want to be remembered as the girl who was shot, I want to be remembered. As a girl who stood up”. Speaks a lot about women empowerment   Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam our former President of India quoted as  “ Empowerment of women leads to develop a  good family, good society and ultimately a prosperous nation’

The highly acclaimed great poet in Urdu, Dr. Allama Iqbal says:

“ Wajood e Zan Se Hai tasveer e qaenaat me rang.

Is ke saaz se hai zindagi ka soz e duran”

which means all colours in life are because of existence of the woman. The picture that this world presents from women gets its tints and scents.
