Police in Uttar Pradesh’s Jhansi district have arrested three men after a video surfaced showing a Dalit youth being assaulted, threatened and humiliated by a group earlier in November, officials said on Thursday.

According to police, the attackers lured the youth away on the pretext of offering him a cigarette before taking him to a house, where he was beaten, abused and forced to strip. One of the men allegedly pointed a pistol at him while another filmed the assault.
