King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre continues relief work in Yemen’s Socotra island

JEDDAH: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSRelief) is still carrying out relief activities in Socotra, the cyclone-hit Yemeni island.
The Saudi relief organization is working round the clock for the rehabilitation of as many as 950 people affected by the cyclone.
These efforts come within the framework of the continuous support being provided by the Kingdom to the Yemeni people on the directives of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Saudi Arabia had taken swift action in the wake of the cyclone by sending two planes loaded with relief goods to the Yemeni island. The planes delivered equipment, medical supplies and food baskets that will be distributed to the families most in need under the supervision of the center’s staff.
A medical team was also dispatched from Saudi Arabia to help the Yemeni people.
