Rahul Gandhi on stone-pelting in Gujarat: Assault plotted by BJP-RSS activists, gets determined not to be intimidated by incident

In a tour to the flood-hit area of Banaskanth district in the BJP-ruled Gujarat on Friday, Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi’s car was pelted by stones. Although he managed to escape unhurt, some of his SPG commandos came under assault and were reportedly wounded as well as window panes of his car were broken. The Congress Vice-President allegedly held the BJP-RSS workers responsible for pelting stones on his car in Gujarat. While paying visit the flood-affected region, the legislator from Amethi was passing through a crowd showing him black flags, throwing stones on his car and chanting slogans in favour of Narendra Modi. Reacting on the incident, Rahul Gandhi said he got more determined to serve the nation after this condemnable attack. Stone-pelting and black flag-raising can never stop him going through the common people across the country. On one hand, the Congress party asked all parties to condemn this incident, the BJP in Gujarat referred it as a “political gimmick” on tha other hand.
