A delegation of the All India Muslim Mahaz met Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in New Delhi on Thursday and expressed solidarity with the government and people of Iran, according to a statement.
The delegation, led by its chairman Haji Hyder Azam, conveyed support for what it described as Iran’s “dignity, sovereignty and resilience” on the global stage.
It also expressed respect for Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and noted the “strength and perseverance” shown by the Iranian people amid ongoing challenges.
The delegation said the meeting highlighted the need for unity guided by shared values of justice, faith, peace and humanity, and offered prayers for peace, stability and prosperity in Iran.
Iranian Ambassador Mohammad Fatahali and Amrohi Foundation chairman Iftekhar Amrohi were also present at the meeting.
