New Delhi, Mustafa Athar, a student of the fourth standard of DPS Noida, Sec-30, who is getting training from ‘Indo-International Taekwondo Academy’ has brought laurels in his sporting career in the minor age by capturing ‘Double Gold’ in a week in two different mega championships.
He has clinched ‘Gold Medal’ in ‘2nd MARS International Taekwondo Promotion Cup-2019’ organised on 15-09-2019 by ‘Association of Sports Promotion’ at Commonwealth Games, Delhi under 22 kg category. Over 250 students from ‘Taekwondo Club’ including 10 schools of Delhi/NCR participated in this event.
Mustafa had added another feather in his accomplishment cap by bagging ‘Gold Medal’ in ‘First School Taekwondo Association Championship-2019’ organised last week by Gautam Buddha Nagar District Association, UP in GD Goenka Public School under 22 kg category. This championship saw rather larger participation of over 560 students from across 30 schools.
Master Shakeel Ahmad – the director of ‘Indo-International Taekwondo Academy’ asserts that his academy imparts training of ‘Sports Taekwondo’ & ‘Self-defence’ to the students. He also added that the boys and girls of his academy have outperformed this year by grabbing 10 gold, 9 silver and 9 bronze medals in various Taekwondo Championships. Besides Mustafa, Abdullah Khan, Aima Khan, Abdul Rahim and Aman Ahad bagged gold medals while Aisha Shakeel and Md. Mushfiq, Alina Khan grabbed silver medals whereas Md. Ahmad and Taha Siddique got bronze medals this year. By and large, this year the performance of Indo-International Taekwondo Academy has been outstanding indeed!
