I appreciate what Ms. Mayawati has done as Cheif Minister of UP in Lucknow. It is a world class city now with wide road and paved footpaths. Lucknow is no more the city I used to live in 1997/98.
Mayawati has build magnificent monuments like Kashiram Eco Park and Dr. Ambedkar Social Reform Park as Dalit pride in the very birth place of Barahmanism – the north India.
The Ambedkar Park is really amazing, it is huge, beautiful and it presents Dalit Asmita in India. Those who believe in Dalit discrimination would find it hard to digest such a gigantic monument in the heart of Brahaman mainland thus downplayed the marvellous achievement of Mayawati in the past and will continue to do so in the future. But believe me Mayawati has put a mark on Lucknow’s forehead and it can never be rub off easily. Every Dalit will be proud of her work in the shape of Ambedkar Park in Lucknow and she will be recorded in the history of India.
